Privacy Policy

Effective Date: December 6, 2025

This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application "My Well-being" (the "App"), developed and owned by My Well-being. We are deeply committed to your privacy and believe in transparency regarding how your data is handled. Crucially, we do not collect, store, or process any of your personal content on our servers.

1. User Content and Data Storage

The core functionality of the App—including all features listed below—involves personal data related to your well-being. This data is handled in a manner that ensures maximum privacy and control remains with you, the user.

Data Saved to CloudKit (Your Private iCloud)

  • Features Covered: Daily well-being routine, gratitude journaling, affirmations, vision board entries, breathing session logs, and milestones.
  • Storage Location: All this data is stored exclusively in your private, secure CloudKit container associated with your Apple ID. This is your private cloud storage.
  • Our Access: My Well-being does not have access to the content of your notes, journals, or vision board entries stored in your CloudKit. We cannot view, access, or share this personal user data.
  • No Server Storage: We do not operate a back-end server to store, transmit, or process your personal well-being content.

Data Control and Deletion

Because your data is stored in your personal CloudKit, you have direct control over it:

  • You can delete your data at any time directly through the App's settings, which will remove it from your CloudKit container.
  • Deleting the App or managing your iCloud settings may also remove this data, subject to Apple's policies.

2. Non-Personal Usage Data and Analytics

To improve the App's performance, stability, and understand feature usage, we collect non-personal, aggregated data using industry-standard tools.

Third-Party Analytics Services

  • Services Used: Firebase Analytics and Amplitude.
  • Data Collected: We track anonymous usage events (e.g., "Breathing session started," "Affirmation viewed," "Journal entry saved").
  • No Personal Identifiers: We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) such in these analytics. We do not track user identity, names, email addresses, or any unique device identifiers that can be linked to your person. Data is shared on an aggregated, anonymous basis.

Crash Reporting

  • Service Used: Firebase Crashlytics.
  • Purpose: This service helps us identify and fix bugs and stability issues.
  • Data Collected: Crash reports contain technical information such as the state of the app at the time of the crash, device type, and operating system version. No personal user data or content is included in these crash reports.

3. Children's Privacy

The App is designed to promote well-being and is generally appropriate for all ages. Given the nature of our data handling:

  • We do not knowingly collect any personal information (as defined by COPPA) from children under the age of 13 because all personal content is stored exclusively in the user's private CloudKit, not on our servers.
  • We rely on the parental controls and privacy settings provided by the user's Apple ID and iCloud account.

4. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App or on this page, and updating the "Effective Date" above. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
